Leadership coaching

Nordicly logo

Just as athletes benefit from coaching, so do leaders. Coaching can help uncover blind spots, strengthen leadership skills, and change behaviours that can directly impact business results.

2024 requires a new type of leadership which has got a focus on coaching, mentoring, developing and leading with trust and authenticity, whilst  maximising company output and income. My coaching helps support and grow leaders, especially as they transition into new roles, face new challenges, or prepare to take on more responsibilities, and simply how to lead better from the front, with confidence, self-trust and bringing the 'team' onboard, however large that team may be.

I provide leadership coaching to people at executive level to lower level managers. If you have a team to lead, you have a responsibility to provide excellent leadership, and I can coach you to be your best for THEM and YOU.

Performance/1:1 professional coaching

Performance coaching enhances an individual's performance, productivity, and effectiveness in their role. This involves me working one-on-one with an employee to identify areas for improvement, set goals, and develop strategies to achieve those goals. Here is why someone should consider performance coaching:

  1. Personalised development: My performance coaching provides personalised attention to an individual's specific needs and goals, which can be more effective than generalized training programs (so great for staff development).

  2. Improved performance: I can help employees identify and overcome obstacles to their performance, leading to improved results and greater success in their role.

  3. Increased self-awareness: Through my coaching, employees can gain a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses, as well as their blind spots, which can help them make more informed decisions and take more effective actions.

  4. Enhanced leadership skills: Performance coaching can help employees develop leadership skills, such as communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution, which can benefit both the individual and the organisation.

  5. Greater job satisfaction: By identifying and addressing areas for improvement, employees usually feel more confident and competent in their role, leading to greater job satisfaction and engagement.

Overall, performance coaching can be a valuable investment for businesses looking to develop their employees and achieve greater success, which I have experienced with my clients over the past few years.

Group coaching

So much goes into teamwork. Team member relationships, shared experiences, and interpersonal awareness all affect the effectiveness of team collaboration.

Workplace team coaching increases self-awareness of behaviours and their impact on team dynamics, equipping teams to collaborate more effectively and take on complex challenges, together.

I can provide customised team coaching to enhance team effectiveness and achieve your organisation’s specific needs and desired outcomes.

Usual key aims of group coaching:

Creating a shared focus and shared expectations

Creating a shared agenda and shared expectations are foundational to any
group coaching process.

Goal setting

Goals form the foundation of any coaching process including group coaching.

In a group coaching setting, individuals will be working on their own set of
goals, and there may also be a shared series of goals.

Creating accountability
Going hand in hand with goal setting is creating a focus on accountability. This is a key distinction between group coaching and other related disciplines such as training and facilitation. A key part of the coaching process is having clients identify the actions they would like to be accountable for session to session.

Concise communication
Everyone communicates differently and communication can take a number of forms - verbal, written, and visual. I invite participants to communicate in the ways they find most meaningful.

Supporting the group process
Great group coaching deepens the appreciation and awareness of group
process issues. As soon as we leave the area of individual coaching and move into the realm of coaching "many" it is important to be noticing what is happening in the dynamics of the group.

Life coaching (individual)

Nordicly logo

Life coaching is for you, if:

  • You have a challenge or goal you’re working on, like a plateau in business or personal life, and you’re not sure what’s preventing you from getting to the next level, but “trying harder” doesn’t seem to be working.

  • You get to a certain point in your life or career before an old pattern repeats itself, and you feel stuck.

  • You’ve done a tonne of courses and coaching and even though they’re great, it hasn’t had the results you want

  • You’ve hit a glass ceiling and can’t seem to break through - financially or otherwise

  • You have had a significant event occur in your life and it feels like life is giving you a sign that something needs to change.

  • You are OK with quick, honest, and deep excavation of your inner world - in the spirit of big, beautiful, timeless breakthroughs.

  • You are coachable, curious, and open to transformation happening quickly, but you’re willing to be patient for it, taking the right actions.

  • You are excited to work in an intensive arrangement, and ready to get started.
